saw the chemical brothers monday night....absolutely amazingly phe-fucking-nomenal. wow wow wow. after the show, as soon as the lights came on i looked at my friend and said 'i cannot believe we just fucking saw that'. and thats the truth...i cannot believe i saw that. these guys REALLY know how to work it live. all the songs were slightlty remixed if not completely reworked, and they did not disapoint in track selection. old songs, new songs, and a period where they played a bunch of completely weird new stuff. towards the end, the blonde one (ed i believe) absolutely fucking killed this old ass analog synth. i mean he turned it on its side where we could see it and started tweaking the ever loving shit out of it. all mouths were on the floor...it felt to me like it must have felt for anyone in the 60s and 70s watching someone like clapton or page or frampton who had complete and utter control over their instrument, and producing the most out of this world noises. i mean everyone was in complete awe. the visuals as well were outstanding. the music was so loud; dont ever let yer parents know you listened to anythign THAT LOUD. my mind is boggled at how perfect they were. cheers to ed and tom. they will be around for a long time...and i fucking saw them.

schoolwise, we got finals coming up, i might should probably be preparing. ill be going home to bryan for a month and working at coulter airfield again towards the end. june 1st though its back up to san marcos into an apt which ill be occupying alone until jared moves in in august. will definitely be an interesting experience.
