I just got out of Patrick's car and he reminded me that I should probably update this a wee bit so here goes.
Spring break 02 kicked off with a road-trip to Alamogordo, New Mexico accompanied by the ever-addictive Becky. Had a really good time just having no plans and especially being big nature-hippies out in the sand dunes. Wednesday morning we headed home; I spent about 13 hours in the car from NM to Bryan; and shit, it caught up with me. Something (we suspect food poisoning) got me sick as all hell on the way back. This turned in to a MAJOR ordeal and I was completely out of comission for a while.
I'm a little bit better now, I have hardly any appetite and I'm pretty swimmy today, but at least I'm not bed-ridden. I hope to go chill with the old crew tonight. I've heard nothing but depressing news since I've been back, so we'll try and focus on today and have a good time.
