Long time time since last post, but brought on by an equally long weekend (figure out the logistics of THAT!).
The insanisty began on thursday, for those of you who dont remember, halloween. Went out with some friends to a club, then went to a parlay with a bunch of people i didnt know. It ended up nicely though cause htis guy had his turntables out. Like every other trendy kid with a bit of money, he had no idea how to use them. Oh but he could scratch. Whoopity doo. so can my cat. So while he was was 'scratching' i asked if i could try my hand at the wheels of steel. Its been well over a year or two since ive touched tables, so i wasnt sure of my abilities. Well I ended up launching into a set of just popular dance tunes but god damn if it wasnt fun and god damn if it didnt go smoothly. Was a blast. An impromptu dj gig and a chance to reaffirm myself. Lovely.

Friday we head to waco to visit lil sister and go to another party which i was djing (burned the mix before hand). That was a hoot, and it was good to see my sister in her own turf.

Saturday we headed to houston, with a very nice little stop off in bryan. Houston blew because the band sucked and the company sucked even worse...but ya know, win some, lose some. All in all a glorious weekend. 530 miles later and our "Dirty South" tour is complete, and im a tired, tired man.
