Have fun in china
First of all, none of the pictures work anymore as the old uni just figured out I was getting a free ride. so my webspace is gone...any donations?
alright now let's shed light on my situation. first of all, im not in china, the guy next to me was joking and said that right as i was thinking of a subject to put up. im in prague. it's beautiful, its cold, and its beer-laden. beer is cheaper than water, and everywhere. tonight i'll prolly be taking it easy.
i got to the airport and thank god, there was somebody waiting for me. i ended up being driven to the 'flat' with one of my roomates for the month. he is a great guy, same job description as i have, so we get along pretty well. what that means is we might end up living together cause we both fiend for the internet. man, the toys this guy brought are awesome. a SUITCASE devoted to electronics...we're talking badass voltage converter, a PROJECTOR, and an xbox. the projector is SUPER fuckin nice, cause really, who needs a tv when a wall will do as your super-bigscreen.
so that's cool. we live in oldschool communist housing, just a big cement block in a sea of cement blocks. its pretty nice though, awesome location being so close to the subway station. some parts of it are oldschool, as in the toilet being in it's own room and the washer/dryer being in right next to the bathroom sink. i havent tried the washer out yet but i hear the dryer is worthless.
the people i am in class with are all really easy to get along with. we all come from a pretty diverse background. there is i think two other people who are fresh out of school like myself. we are the most boring, definitely. but we all get along and we have been having fun so far.
most of them already have cellphones, so thats where i am headed after this. apparently, next to finland, this is the biggest country for cell phones. somethinge like 90% of the poeple have them. its just so much cheaper to do wireless than invest in assloads of copper wire and dig all the ditches for them.
next week we start 'school', which is 9-1230 of class, and then the afternoon is devoted to teaching practice. FUN. i havent been in school from 9-6 or somethign similar in some time. well mabye not that long, but long enough to think it kinda sucks. lucky for me, tuesday, my 23rd, is also a national holiday. they must have known i was coming. hopefully i can do something amusing.
beer is definitely cheap, as is food genereally. the first night, three of us split a pizz and two beers a piece and i think we paid...uh...$10? yea, really nice. did i mention the town is BEAUTIFUL? the architecutre that is not communist is really super amazing, but i havent taken alot of time yet to explore, since i will have plenty of time.
i dont have internet at home, but i do at the school and i am here like everyday. hopefully i will have it when i move into a new place, but not too hopeful just so im not let down, yer know.
im tired of typing and i am hungry. i will try to update this with how things are going as often as they are going. i miss everybody and want to hear from everyone to let me know ivan has destroyed the whole country! email me at nogginj_at_hotmail_dot_com or my new address which im trying to move to, nogginj_at_gmail_dot_com.
peace yall.

I like musique
just as a test of the powers of excel, my webspace at school that has yet to be taken down, not to mention my nerdery, and because i know Carly will look and maybe go 'whaaaaaa', i present to you a list of every album i have in mp3 format. this list represents EVERYTHING i have acquired since i started school in august of 2000. i am currently in the process of adding cds i bought before that date, so perhaps soon i will have litereally everything i own listed and backed up. although this is mostly digital music, there are some vinyl rips, and more vinyl will come later.
the list is sorted in three ways: by artist, by album, and by disc archive # (which the general public probably won't really care about).
this took a long time to do, but not as long as i thought and i mean just look how dedicated i can be!
if you missed it, here's the link: Noggin's Record Collection
